Welcome to Camp Hiawatha: A literary journal featuring poems and short fiction related to the theme of camping. Our name is inspired by the Hiawatha National Forest in northern Michigan, and we are open for submissions.

Submission Guidelines

Submit 1 piece of micro-fiction (300-500 words) OR 1-4 poems (typed or handwritten) as an attachment to CampHiawatha@hotmail.com. We’ll respond with a yes/no within 3-4 weeks. There is no fee to submit and simultaneous submissions are welcome. We are not a paying market at this time. Authors retain all rights after initial publication. If the work is published elsewhere in the future please acknowledge previous publication in Camp Hiawatha.
