Ribbons of gravel strung across
the land Which path
to take is
not mine
to
choose
Threads
of rocks
the flesh tread
upon Pathways illuminated by
the light Deer hooves imprinted
Scattered across a place
where the aching
hand of
man
has not
embraced Spirits flutter
along Barely grazing strands
of reality Not even touching Only
drifting
Lightning strikes
A boom in
the distance Rocks are
washed away by a mudslide
I
run as
the ribbon unravels
Through spatters of pounding
rain I am
Liberated
